Aktivitas sehari-hari, seperti berjalan, bermain dengan cucu, pergi ke pasar, memasak, dan bercocok tanam dapat membantu menjaga otot dan tulang perempuan lansia tetap kuat, dan juga mencegah kekakuan otot. Olahraga teratur juga dapat mempertahankan berat badan dan mencegah penyakit jantung.
