  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Gallstones
  • Diabetes
  • some Cancers
  • Arthritis in the legs and feet
  • Weak bones
  • Constipation
  • Stomach ulcers, acid indigestion, and heartburn
